Ingredients 1 cup Rava 1 cup curd 1/2 tsp mustard 1/2 tsp jeera 1 tsp chana dal 1 tsp chopped green chillies 1/2 tsp grated ginger 1 tsp chopped coriander 3-4 curry leaves 1-2 tbsp of oil (preferably gingelly) salt to taste Directions Heat the oil in a pan, and splutter in the mustard, jeera and chana dal. add in the chopped chillies,coriander, ginger and curry leaves. Add the rava and salt and coat in the oil until lightly brown. Remove from fire and add the beaten curd, add water if necessary to make thick batter that you can scoop with your hand. fill in the idly maker and steam on high for 5-7 minutes. Serve hot with coriander chutney |
